What Is the Wellness Center?

The Wellness Center is a program based on recovery, hope, personal growth and consumer choice. Northern Tier Counseling, Inc's Wellness Center is designed with the participant in mind. The goal of the Wellness Center is for the participant to be successful and satisfied in the role or environment of their choice. The staff at the Wellness Center will help a participant identify areas of need through an assessment period, and help you set, achieve and maintain a goal. Staff will provide ongoing knowledge and awareness, skills training and support, but the participant is in control of their recovery journey.

  • Who is eligible?
    • 18 years or older
    • Chooses to participate in the program
    • Presence of or history of serious mental illness, diagnosis includes schizophrenia, major mood disorder, psychotic disorder NOS, schizoaffective disorder or borderline personality disorder (There is a waiver for those that do not meet these diagnostic criteria)

    The individual has to have a moderate to severe impairment that interferes with or limits role performance in at least one of the following domains:

    • Education
    • Social
    • Vocational
    • Living
    • Health and wellness

  • How are the services paid for?

    CCBHO/Pennsylvania Medical Access Card pays in full for these services.
