Children/Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program
Goal:
The overall program goals are to provide an opportunity to increase current functioning, to enhance socialization experiences, to develop a positive attitude of self-worth, and to promote a sense of social responsibility; all of which will enable the children and adolescents to return to the regular educational setting and prevent placement in a more restrictive setting.

Description:
The Children/Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program is a mental health treatment program that runs from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday thru Friday.  Services provided include individual, group, and family treatment.  Education is provided by BLaST iu17 during the academic school year.  

The Children/Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program works on teaching coping skills to address areas such as anger, depression, self-esteem, mood changes, peer conflict, and social skills.  

The program uses a team approach which includes Mental Health Professionals, a Registered Nurse, and a Psychiatrist.
