Children/Adolescents
(Ages 3 to 21 if still in High School) |
|
|
| Description: |
|
| BHRS (Wraparound) uses
an individualized, strength-based
approach to treat mental health diagnoses in children and adolescents
from ages 3 to age 21 (must still be in high school). We use
an
interagency team to develop a treatment plan and goals for a
child
or adolescent. BHRS then works individually with children to
provide them with the
skills to be successful in their home, school, and community and to
prevent out of home placement. The
program also focuses on assisting parents/guardians in
increasing
positive behavioral changes with their children and developing
effective parenting techniques. In the schools, BHRS works
with
teachers to help address behavior problems related to ADHD, Anxiety,
and other diagnoses. We also specialize in the treatment of
Autism through Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). |
