Mental Health Therapist
Overview:
Northern
Tier Counseling has an opening for a Mental Health Therapist in the
Outpatient Program in South Waverly. The clinician will be
responsible for the active management of a caseload of mental health
clients of all ages.
Specific skills are needed in the areas of:
-
Assessment and diagnosis
- Treatment planning
- Individual, Couples, and Group psychotherapy
- Discharge planning
- Timely, accurate, and efficient documentation is required and closely monitored.
- Promotion of positive community relations.
- Psychoeducational techniques.
Qualified
candidates will have a Master's degree in Human Services, licensed
preferred, with a minimum of one year of experience. Good
diagnostic ability and the ability to use appropriate treatment
interventions required. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills as well as the ability to work effectively as a team member.
