Mental Health Professional
Overview:
Northern
Tier Counseling has an immediate position opening for a Mental Health
Professional to work in the Children's Partial Hospitalization Program
Responsibilities Include:

Assumes
overall treatment responsibility for assigned caseload, which includes
presenting cases to the treatment team, developing assigned clients'
treatment plan, and providing input to the team regarding other cases
being presented.
- Identifying
client needs/problems, strengths, goals, and developing a plan to meet
the goals as part of the treatment planning process.
- The
compilation and maintenance of timely and accurate case records on
assigned clients which includes daily progress notes on clients,
treatment plan reviews, appropriate referral forms, chart audits,
intake, and other forms as needed.
- Conduct individual and family therapy as needed with clients, group sessions, and other skills training groups as assigned.
- Conduct
training of other PHP staff in areas assigned by the Program Manager
and acts as a clinical resource person for the program.
- Attends
and participates in inter-agency meetings regarding mutual clients as
needed and also conducts educational workshops in the community as
assigned by the Program Manager.
Master's
degree in the behavioral or social sciences with at least 2 years
experience, license preferred. Comfort level with crisis
intervention work.
