Here at Northern Tier Counseling we employ over 120 highly trained professionals such as Psychiatrists, Physician Assistants, Psychologists, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Addiction Counselors, and Therapists as well as all the administrative business positions an organization needs.

We are a small business, and as such we are not like corporate companies where managers are separated from the employees. Our work environment is a professional, yet causal one. As a not-for-profit organization that provides services to the community we pride ourselves in providing the best service we possibly can to our clients in a nice, friendly manner.

Therapeutic Staff Support Workers BHRS Some college and work experience in the CASSP program.

Behavioral Specialist Consultant BHRS See Description

Certified Peer Specialist Peer Support Services Participation in the CPS Training Program must meet the following education and experience qualifications: a) A self identified current or former user of mental health or co-occuring services.  b) High school diploma or GED.  c) Act 33/34 and 151 clearances.  d) Demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing. e) Within the last three (3) years, 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience; alternate post secondary educational expereince will be considered.  f) Commitment to consumer choice and empowerment.  g) Ability to establish trusting relationships with peers.

Mobile Therapist BHRS Position requires: Master's degree in Human Services and one year of experience working with children or adolescents.  Treatment planning skills, familiarity and comfort level working with family settings needed.

Outpatient Clinical Manager Outpatient A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, licensed preferred, with a minimum of three years clinical, administrative, and program planning experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a Mental Health or Drug & Alcohol setting.

Outpatient Mental Health Therapist Outpatient Master's degree in Human Services, licensed preferred, with a minimum of one year of experience.

Secretary/Receptionist Adult Partial Responsible to support all clinical and administrative departments at a secretarial/receptionist level.  Qualified candidates will have at least one year of experience in a secretarial position as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.

Registered Psychiatric Nurse Adult Partial The Registerd Psychiatric Nurse will assist in the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of nursing services in the Adult PHP.  Position requires RN license; Master's degree and psychiatric experience preferred.

Family Based Mental Health Worker Family Based Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in the behavioral or social sciences plus one year experience working in a CASSP-like system.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as a team member are required.

Adolescent/Children PHP Worker Children/Adolescent PHP Bachelor's degree in the behavioral or social sciences with a minimum of two years working in the human services field.  Comfort level with crisis intervention work.
