Family Based Mental Health Professional Overview: Northern Tier Counseling has immediate opening for a full-time Family Based Mental Health Professional. The Family Based Mental Health Professional will provide family therapy, individual, group or other treatment modalities or interventions, within the home and community, as necessary to maintain the family in a stable home condition. Responsibilities and Duties Include: Responsible for screening, assessing, treatment planning and after care discharge planning for all families assigned. Provide for 24 hour emergency services 7 days per week, as scheduled, and provide back up for other team members when appropriate. Participates in ongoing in-service training programs. Knowledge of psychotherapy modalities, principals and practices as well as demonstrative capacity to further develop the same. Ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate clinical records, make clinical recommendations and formulate service plans and family goals. Ability to supervise and work as lead therapist in conjunction with a secondary Family Based Mental Health worker. Position requires travel. Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a Master’s degree in human services and two years experience working in a CASSP like system. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as a team member are required.
