Nestled in the Endless Mountains region, Bradford and Sullivan counties are home to long, country roads and breathtaking scenery. Mainly an agricultural area, the two counties have many dairy farms throughout the region. However, there is a growing industrial and commerical sector in this region as well.

Bradford County was founded in 1812 and named after George Washington's Attorney General, William Bradford. It is the second largest county in the region with a population of around 60,000. A fisherman's or hunter's paradise, Bradford County has many lakes and forests as well as many camping grounds. People traveling to this region can see country-style living with many small towns dotting the area. Some parts even contain old style wooden bridges and hundred year old farms. The many lush valleys and high mountain tops all covered with trees provide a magnificent sight for the eyes, especially during the autumn season.

Sullivan County is also another mainly rural county with lots of recreational activities to do. The many state parks where you can enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, and hunting. Try the shopping district in Dushore and browse through the arts and crafts shops located throughout the county. Visit the small towns and villages, stop in at the general stores and visit with the country folk.

Bradford and Sullivan Counties are a great place to live and work and a calm, serene atomosphere to raise children in. With many fine school districts and a major medical hosptial center nearby, one can enjoy a rural setting with all the benefits of suburban living.
